The plot thickens... well plots, plural.

Here's hoping there's a good end for you coming soon.

Vic, don't worry about it; your health and survival are far more important than a little game. As long as we get some kind of progress report or update, all is good. Even if you have to full stop for a short period, just let us know. Most of us will understand, even if it may not be what we want to hear. And anyone who starts getting all Karen about it can go fuck themselves with a scaffold pole.

Nice! Thanks for taking the effort to go the extra mile on MNF. Quick question though - is there a family patch, or can we use the one for the base game?

Thanks for all your hard work on your games, and congratulations on completing what is one of my favourite VNs. In fact, I rate you (along with Talothrel of Terminus fame) as one of the two best relationship writers out there.
Here's to the future - may it be so bright that dark glasses are required.

Thank you for all your hard work on this project - and to everyone who helped you. This has been a wonderful story with great characters, and the teasing for MNF2 is perfect.

What gets me is how you have managed to keep going through all the problems/crises, even to the point of "well, I can't do any of A, so I'll use what I can and work on B or even C.

Kudos to you.

For my part - and I'm aware this is just my own preference - I do prefer when visual novels adhere more to the 'novel' side of things ie: I'm more or less a passive witness to what you provide. That said, I do like it when options are presented to us that result in good/bad/alternative endings. IMHO, Talothral's 'Terminus Reach: Sentinel' (parts 1 and 2) are the gold standard for this style.

I actually find myself going back to certain titles, just to read the plot - and skip through the sex scenes... lol. Talothral, along with Killer7 and yourself have the best writing - especially for interpersonal exchanges and character development.

So, yeah. Change things up as and when you feel it necessary, and learn as you go. That said, while changing the writing is all fine and dandy, I'm not too sure whether switching up the game style is as justifiable. You began World's Crossing as  one thing, and perhaps it's better to keep it as that, and change for the next actual game. Of course, that's just my own preference, and an argument can be made that each arc IS a separate game.  Whatever happens, I'm here to see what goes on, because I'm loving the writing.

Sorry it's all gone to crap for you at the moment. Even Mary and Becca look concerned for you!

Take your time, and we'll wait. For us, it's a minor inconvenience, but it's a serious issue for you, so please focus on yourself. I know it's trite (and often unhelpful), but please be kind to yourself, even if it means taking a step back from all this - and us.

Eh - it's not much, but you just got a couple of bucks from me on SS. And since I wasn't on Patreon, it's brand new to you. Keep up the great work. I'm absolutely loving the characters and the interaction.

"The maiden, the mother and... the other one."

Have you been reading Terry Pratchett?

So happy to see this today - I was literally thinking about the game just yesterday, so having the next instalment to play is very welcome.

Mate, take your time. Grief is never easy at the best of times, and official crap doesn't help. We can wait.

Holy cliffhanger, Batman! You really like to have these lovely moments spiced up, don't you?

The free time mechanic seems quite interesting. Obviously, it's limited right now, but I can see it being a very good part of the whole.

Yay for (what I hope is) Nook being cuddled!

Ditto!

Always nice to read these updates, but don't be so hard on yourself; illness happens. Sure, we can take measures to prevent episodes, but the possibility will never be zero. If you ever feel too crap to do something, then it's time to take care of yourself. You're a fantastic communicator, and we know you'll never leave us hanging out to dry. Just post a little note, and we'll be fine. I mean, you update us once a week anyway, so it's not like we're in the dark. Just be kind to yourself.

Anyhow, something occurred to me a while ago while I was replaying the recent updates of MNF. In one scene, MC and Maddie were having fun. When they finished, Lucy commented (from another room, ofc) that she was listening to music with both sets of ears - not that it helped. It got me thinking though - what if Lucy could experience a sort of surround sound experience with the right set(s) of headphones? Just wondering.

If I haven't said it before, I'll say it now - you are fantastic at writing relationships.

Pretty much the only thing I don't like about the current design is Sun's look. It's barely detailed at all, and it makes it a bit Uncanny Valley

I still say you have the best grasp of Honey Select; while being slightly cartoonish, your characters are attractive and believable.

This all sounds wonderfully epic in nature: I'm rather looking forward to this!

Slow and steady wins the race. Don't burn yourself out for us, please.

Fair enough - thanks for the reply

Am I missing something? Does the first season of this game really end with MC waiting for Serafina to turn up? It's a very bizarre and abrupt way to finish things.

Reached the end of this update. It was as good and wonderful as expected. The big event was absolutely perfect.

Now. there was a hell of a partial reveal this week. It's one that I'm frankly embarrassed for not thinking of myself, but it's very welcome, makes perfect sense, and bodes well for a sequel. Damn. I can't wait, now...

Oh gods, the humour is on point! Death Glare Alice FTW

<great big grin>

From what I can gather in the game, it's only family members at the moment. Although I'm willing to bet Fiona caves and joins in.

In all probability, MC would like to marry all his ladies, but let's be honest, it's going to chaotic as it is with (cue rapid mental counting) seven family members and perhaps Fiona all sharing a Big Day. And since Killer7 wants to wrap up this phase of their story, there's only so much you can get done before all sense of believability goes out of the window.

I sort of get the feeling that, now phase 1 is nearing completion - and, in Killer7's mind, IS complete - there's now a yearning to get it over and done with so he, and we, can see What Happens Next. I'm kinda with Killer7 on this, but then again, the writing has been that good, I've been eagerly anticipating every new part.

By the way, Killer7, I don't know if you are likely to read this, but there is literally only one thing that I feel a need to see before the end; everyone cuddling in a big pile. No sex, just one big happy family, perhaps in front of a log fire.

The nun does seem to be taking some chill pills in later updates, so, yeah....

Isn't she one of the ones getting married?
By your logic, Ida (Maddie's coach) is also a possibility.

Okay, so are we taking odds for the person officiating the wedding?
Knowing Fiona, it's probably yet another thing she is qualified for, but I don't think it's going to be the case here - especially as she is both best 'man' and may yet decide to join the other brides-to-be. For my money, I'd say it has to be the nun, as she seems to be coming around to the idea of freer love. As  a secondary guess, maybe Alice's friend from the orphanage. (yes, I know, I can't remember her name either)

Just don't kill Nook.

Mate, fuck the game. You need time to get through this awful tragedy. Anyone with half a brain and an ounce of compassion will understand if you just step back for a while. Look after yourself, please.

If Nook is not alright, VS might need to go into hiding...

Kinda curious as to how Lucy looks in koikatsu ...

Aweebin... lol...

Seconded.

While we all love and enjoy the stuff you produce, you come first. Just make sure you're alright, yeah?

"Can we make that our wedding vow?"???

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
